Shipping policy

Handling Time:

  • Each shipment is processed for quality inspection, packaging, and documentation. This does not delay shipment.
  • We strive to get all orders received before 1 PM PST shipped out the same day. We ship from our CA location. Orders not shipped same day will be shipped the following (business) day. We will contact you if for some reason there are delays.

Domestic Shipping (USA):

  • We ship weekdays, Monday – Saturday. We do not ship on Sunday or on any USPS holidays. Orders received after 10 AM on Saturday will ship on the following Monday, assuming Monday is not a holiday.
  • You can choose your preferred shipping method on the 'Order Information' page during the checkout process.
  • All packages have specific tracking information.
  • You will receive an email notifying you once your order has shipped. The email will include a unique parcel tracking number. 
  • It may take a few days to view tracking information before updated by the courier in their system. If your tracking number has not appeared on the courier's website, please try again in 24-48 hours.
  • Delivery time within the continental USA orders is 3 – 4 business days. Delivery to non-continental USA orders may take up to 6 days.
  • We will ship to either residential or business address.
  • We are currently shipping orders within the continental USA for $7.75 via USPS Priority Service. This special shipping promotion is for a limited time.

International Shipping:

Import Duties, Fees, and Taxes:

  • All orders shipping to a destination outside of the USA may be subject to the import duties, fees, and taxes of the destination country.
  • Delays in delivery may occur if your package is randomly selected by your country’s Customs department or Agency for inspection.
  • We have no control over the process or additional charges associated with the delivery and importation of your order (package) into your country. We do not benefit in any way from these charges.
  • We are not responsible for any duties, fees, or taxes that are incurred during the delivery of your order.
  • Please note it is your responsibility to obtain any necessary government permission and/or documentation for import approval, as well as to verify and pay all import charges including duties, fees, and taxes.
  • Shipments via USPS Priority Mail, USPS First Class Package International, DHL, UPS are available and computed based on size and weight of order.
  • Transportation time varies between carriers and shipping service opted for when placing orders. 
  • In the event you refuse to accept your order due to import duties, or taxes, you will take full liability for all return shipment costs, customs charges, and handling fees incurred. Please note that The Beading Design Tool, Inc. must abide by custom regulations, and cannot declare purchased items as a gift, or list items for an amount lower than that of the actual product price.


  • We accept returns within 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. We will review and issue a return authorization.
  • There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
